This beautiful bay 1982 Grand Prix Trakehner stallion is
16.2 hands and is owned by Dennis and Lee Ackerman of Monument Asil
Arabian Stud in Monument, Colorado.
Ibsen is a proven
performance horse and has been Champion or reserve at every level of dressage
throughout his performance career. He passes his excellent mind and
performance qualities to all of this offspring. Ibsen's Arabian cross
breds are exceptional. Gentle and kind, he is a joy to be around and
invites you to communicate with him; Ibsen never takes his attention from you
when you are interacting with him.
After his approval
by
the American Trakehner Association in 1987, Ibsen began his dressage career
with Nancy Chesney. In 1995 Ibsen began his Intermediaire II and Grand
Prix Career. His scores earned Nancy Chesney her USDF
Gold
Medal and Ibsen USDF Horse of
the Year Award!
Between October 2004 and September 2005 Ibsen, at the age of 23, sound and
happy, spent a year as a School Master, teaching the next generation of
dressage riders the art of the upper levels. Ibsen continues to stand at
Monument Asil Arabian Stud.
